Prestigious Organization is in need of a Director of Software Development. The Director of Software Developmentwill be responsible for in the delivery of engaging and innovative IT projects. This role will create and lead the overall strategy for prioritizing and executing projects to provide a world class experiencefor internal and external customers. As a key leader, the Director of Software Development will be responsible for multiple teams across analysis, development, support, and product management to build and launch solutions. Preferably someone who grew up in Microsoft development technologies.

Required Skills and
Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience in a technical IT environment.
  • Minimum of 6 years' direct leadership experience.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or experience in a related technical field.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record for driving delivery and operational performance improvements across an organization.
  • Excellent follow up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems and adapt to different work environments.
  • This role will require hands-on project management skills, technical expertise, and excellent leadership skills.
  • Travel requirements of up to 20% to provide on-site support for projects.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
  • Demonstrated effective planning and organizational skills through previous work assignments.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical speak' to a non-technical audience

Preferred Skills and
Experience:

  • Experience in food distribution or manufacturing businesses.
  • Experience in a software development environment using Agile methodologies
  • MBA or Master's Degree in related field
  • Foodservice/distribution experience.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Manages IT staff by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management for software development and integration projects.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define strategy and requirements in order to define and execute IT programs.
  • Develop schedules, budgets, risk management plans, quality goals, and lead the team to success.
  • Manage a team that can build a technical organization that can support and sustain rapid growth.
  • Maintain detailed program metrics around initiatives.
  • Manage change and resolve issues in order to deliver results.
  • Lead continuous improvements in all aspects of the development process.
  • Drive tough decision making while balancing business goals, technical implications, and timelines.
  • Mentor and provide leadership to team members.
  • Manage IT teams comprised of both internal and external resources.
  • Defining and delivering application roadmaps and technology platforms with features that support business strategies.
  • Leading the identification, evaluation, and selection of third party partners to assist with application integration, development and support to staff project delivery roles that meet delivery standards across quality, throughput, and budgetary goals.
  • Effectively lead large projects from inception through to implementation.
  • Communicate and interact with executive leadership team.
  • Maintains a professional work environment.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
