This position is targeted to be a 1-year minimum assignment with the possibility to continue longer. Hours are flexible, but candidate must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week. Normal workdays are flexible to accommodate schedules within business hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participate in application development within the Global Equipment Sales Systems team, particularly related to the development and support of the data maintenance system and data quality. Responsibilities include transforming business requirements into software enhancements and bug fixes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Data Maintenance software development team to develop and enhance its applications.
Either: 1) Full-time student status in a 4-year program with major in IT, CS, MIS, or related technical field required. or 2) College graduate with a major in IT, CS, MIS, or related technical field required, who desires part-time work.Must have Microsoft Excel & Word experience. Some programming experience is required. Experience in C++, C#.NET, , and SQL is a plus. Must be able to function effectively in various environments, including independently and in team situations. Must be able to express concepts and ideas with clarity.
