Company is looking for an experienced Automation and Controls Engineering Support Specialist to support their modern food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing operations.
This person's primary responsibilities are to: program, troubleshoot and maintain automated systems and equipment in support of process manufacturing, batching, and packaging. Candidates should have strong experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC's, HMI's and supporting control devices, along with an industrial electronics and instrumentation background. Regular tasks include but are not limited to: troubleshoot a variety of automated systems supporting many different processes; perform upgrades and maintenance on controls and instrumentation; communicate with operators and management teams; ensure day to day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved; provide emergency support as required; coordinate with vendors for necessary support and/or repairs.
Qualifications: This job is in a heavily automated industrial setting, thus candidates should have a minimum of two years of automation experience and/or training. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills; the ability to work well alone and as part of a team; strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; be accurate and detail oriented; willingness to learn and perform a variety of job tasks; ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects; be able to support and meet department deadlines; good problem solving skills; ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals; good working knowledge of Rockwell software to include RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, FTView ME & SE, and RSLinx; and a basic understanding of common industrial protocols such as Ethernet IP and ControlNet. All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards.

2. Experience with Rockwell software to include RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, FTView ME & SE, and RSLinx.
