Create and maintain product documentation as necessary to support business processes. This includes new product development, service parts support, and existing product lines support. Business processes include supersessions, technical service and support, product configuration, manufacturing and ordering duties, creating submittal documentation, and creating 3D models. Work is performed in an engineering environment using computerized applications, and product knowledge is necessary. Product documentation is created and maintained using detailed change control processes. Research and create drawings/specifications. Create and maintain submittals, product configurations, and bills of material for manufacturing and ordering applications.
Associate''s degree required in mechanical design, electrical or electronic design, drafting/CAD design, or a directly-related discipline. An understanding of manufacturing processes, demand flow, and ISO 9000 in production is required.
