Job Description
The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating operational and personnel activities under the direction of the assigned Director of Facilities Service to ensure the provision of quality services meets the needs of those served by the department. The supervisor provides leadership based on the Franciscan Skemp Healthcare (FSH) mission, vision, and values. The role includes ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making under the direction of their manager with physicians, associate providers, department staff and multidisciplinary team members. The Supervisor will maintain a professional environment and on-going development of staff. The Supervisor is mentored and assisted by the assigned Director in applying current leadership and management theories and assists in the implementation of strategic and operational plans. Basic
Qualifications:
Demonstrated progression of development in leadership abilities. Demonstrated excellent communication skills. Five years of supervisory experience in mechanical maintenance operations of a healthcare facility. Minimum of Bachelor''s degree or equivalent, significant specialized training relating to healthcare facility maintenance. Supervisory/Leadership experience with progressive increase in responsibilities preferred. Knowledge of and experience with continuous quality improvement and change management processes. Experience in a multidisciplinary, collaborative setting. Able to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations with a variety of people. Able to adapt to unpredictable situations. Able to manage and cope effectively with leadership of employees. Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs and own workload. Ability to collect, compare, sort, and prioritize information to be used in the decision making process. Ability to use informed judgment and individual competence in seeking consultation, accepting responsibilities, and delegating activities to others. Able to maintain a good sense of humor. In depth knowledge with preventive maintenance and work order process. Knowledge regardingwith local, state, and federal standards relating to healthcare systems. Computerskills required including Wxcel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency. Experience with Four Rivers Software desired. Must have a valid driver''s license.

Schedule Details: Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Other shifts as needed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
