Financial Counselor

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local debt collection service that has been around for over 25 years and we are currently seeking dynamic and motivated Financial Counselors to join their team. If you have a background in sales, customer service, and call center operations, and you're ready to provide top-notch assistance to our clients, we want to hear from you!
Wage: $15/hr
Hours: Flexible hours between 8:00am--7pm Monday Friday
Both Full time and Part time opportunities available
Job Duties:
Interacting with consumers to review information their accounts: answer questions, process payments, set up payment plans, notate disputed accounts for further action
Handling inbound and outbound calls using a dialer system.
Responding promptly to consumer inquiries and requests, either by phone or electronically.
Collaborating with collection team to address consumer questions and concerns.
Reviewing accounts on the transition desk and assigning them to appropriate work queues.
Entering detailed notes into computer system that reflect the interaction with the consumer. Follow up with consumer as needed.
Communicating and coordinating effectively with internal departments to ensure seamless processes.
Providing feedback to enhance the efficiency of workflow process.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience with sales, customer service and/or call center is required
Previous collection experience is helpful.
Basic knowledge of health insurance is preferred
Must be highly motivated and goal oriented
Must have superior communication skills
Must comply with FDCPA and HIPAA regulations at all times

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
