's Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time experienced Data Analyst 2 to join our fast-growing Data Services team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data integration, application support, and reporting, and be familiar with master data management best practices.
This individual will become a Subject Matter Expert on KT's enterprise data and will work closely with other members of the Data Services team, Data Governance, and business units to help define, create, document, test, monitor, catalogue and normalize data.
They will also assist the team in creating processes and procedures to help standardize our workflows and help to mature our data and reporting strategies.
Responsibilities:
Support and manage our Master Data Management (MDM) tools and applications, Informatica and SAS, by resolving incidents, creating and monitoring error reports, implementing improvements, managing releases and updates, monitoring performance, and reducing tech debt wherever possible.
Manage the relationship and work closely with the MDM application vendors and any other related consultants, in order to keep the applications running smoothly by entering support cases, escalating issues where necessary, requesting bug fixes and enhancements, obtaining additional resources when needed, keeping abreast of future technologies, managing various health checks, etc.
Become proficient in building MDM solutions that ingest, match/merge, and egress data to downstream systems by gathering requirements, designing, building, testing, implementing and monitoring them.
Support the company's data-driven initiatives by acting as a data SME on projects.
Create processes that enable data access while also ensuring data security.
Work with KT's Data Governance team to build out and maintain mastered domains within supported master data management systems.
Create ETL jobs in data tools like Power BI Dataflow, Informatica ETL and SAS DataFlux.
Create reports and dashboards in Power BI, SSRS or other tools.
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions.
Ability to gather and analyze data requirements and write data specifications.
Solid understanding of data governance and compliance.
Knowledge of master data concepts (data domains, match/merge), and data quality concepts.
Strong expertise in MS SQL, and ability to write complex query statements.
Knowledge of release management and experience using version control tools.
Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple activities/tasks in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to analyze complex systems, anticipate future needs and provide concise, thorough solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to resolve high priority support issues.
Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
Excellent problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science or a closely related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
At least five years of proven experience in a data analyst (or equivalent) role.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
