Project Manager
Job Summary of the Project Manager:
S eeking an energetic Project Manager who is an experienced manufacturing professional to manage food production projects.This is a high customer contact position with responsibility for proper analysis, planning, scheduling, and follow-through on customer product runs.The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordinating, implementing and finalization of production projects according to specifications and deadlines of our customers.Forecasts timelines, schedule projects, determines material quantities, handles customer relations, and coordinates internal facility production processes and personnel as necessary to satisfy the customer. Job Responsibilities of the Project Manager :
o Coordinate Weekly meetings with customers & create bi-monthly forecasts. o Create work orders for each month and schedule & determine dates & length of projects. o Invoice all projects and work with customer on any issues. o Monitor finished products in warehouse, run inventory status reports, and adjust as needed to ensure accurate inventory. o Create Work Order files and maintain Work Order Logbook. o Create FM 190 project checklists for each campaign. o Create Customer Supplied Material lists for incoming materials. o Maintain customer contact/interaction. o Make sure everything is running on time, troubleshoot issues. o Handle customer reports; yield, tracking lots, and micro results. o Update project calendar as changes occur. o Lead weekly production meetings and take meeting minutes. o Comply with all GMP and Food Safety guidelines Education & Experience of the Project Manager :
Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of highly related manufacturing and/or project management experience. Experience in a food manufacturing environment. Product sales and/or Customer Service experience. Equipment operations in a manufacturing environment. NEVER TELL PEOPLE HOW TO DO THINGS.
